Lock-Right lockers are easily installed in about an hour in the Land Cruiser rear diff by removing the spider and axle gears and installing the Lock-Right automatic positive locking gears. Refill with oil and you are on your way to the steepest trails. Lock-Right lockers do have a ratchet or clicking sound during turns. That's how the Loch-Right releases one wheel when driving on the highway. Some torque twist may be experienced while driving on roadways. We recommend the Lock-Right for "Hard Core" off-road and mild highway use.
